It was 7pm last night and I was hanging to go to Western Sydney International Dragway. Problem was that my friend who like the drags was at the Easter Show. So I stayed home.

Anyway, I am interested in going to the drag strip next Wed 21 April 2004. Is anyone else interested in going? I'd be happy to go as a spectator next week. If I can get a helmet from a friend, I would like to do a 1/4 mile run or two.

Let me know if anyone is interested in going either as a spectator or competitor and I will make some enquiries with WSID about classes etc and we can make arrangements over where to meet.

 

I'd love to go...just not sure of whether i can make that date.

I'll know next week whats on with work and socialy.

 

I think next week will be the last Wed street meeting for a while, as the program shifts to a winter meet of every 2nd Sat until spring.
I'm picking up a helmet on Sun so will go on Wed night.

 

I'll see if I can make it but won't know until at least Tues.

Doesn't look like I'll make it tonight. Doing a new system install starting at 4.30. If I finish early enough I'll come out but it's unlikely.

 

I rang WSID today and today's meet is a burn out comp and street meet. This means that the street meet numbers will be limited to 80 competitiors (usually 200) and as I cannot get there until 6:30pm, I probably would not be on of the first 80 competitiors.

So I will go to the next street meeting next wed 28/4/04 as that day they will take 200 cars.
