I was just wondering if different version HI-TECH exhausts have been developed over time as i was seriously consdering buying a second hand one and was wondering if any improvements have been made to the exhaust recently.
Any input will be really appreciated

there was a version 1 of the HT exhaust, but the improvment over the current version 2 is more of a quality/fitting issue, no performance difference that I know of

That's about end of last year

 

Check out a thread I started around the end of last year. Search for 'Hi-Tech fitted' or something like that. I got one of their 2nd gen exhausts and I attached some photos of the cleaned up welds and better alignment of the pipes and flanges.
