Default Qwikshifter for sale

Hey guys, I trust everyone is well?

As a lot of you know, I bought a "Dweeb" qwikshifter a while ago and was never happy with it.

For those who dont know I will give a brief overview of the one and only problem with the product. At about 4500 - 5000 revs it makes a slight plastic rattle where the control socket moves around in the top of the gearbox. If you dont know the standard shifter has rubber in it to stop this vibration.

The actual shifting is great, smooth, quick and short. Overall it's a great product, I just cant handle the rattle.

I am open to offers, if anyone would like to buy this please let me know. At the time it cost me about $600.

As always

H

Zuffster, I eventually received 1 of the 3 he "sent" me. Strangely i actually got it after I went on this board and bagged him????

I put it in the car for about a month and whilst the shifting is great with it, I just can't stand the rattle.

For any "normal" person the rattle is probably not the bad and as I said above it is really only bewteen 4500 - 5000 revs.

Personally, I just cant stand repititive noises like that when I'm driving.

So Harry,

You were able to beat Frosty in a race and you both had HT exhausts. Do you think your wheels were the factor that contributed you to winning or your HT exhaust?

Muzz, seeing as though we both had the same exhaust it probably cant be that. The wheels maybe a pinch in it. It just came down to driver skills!!!!!

In all seriousness though, even Shizzle said my car seemed to have more top end and keep in mind we're not talking me pulling car lenghts, I was just slowly pulling on him (so to speak!).

They won't admit it but Frostbite is a 150kg giant and H-ster is an anorexic dwarf.

It all came down to weight! lol

The wheels are supposed to save some ~4.6kg of rotational weight per wheel or something like that, which is quite a bit. Dont under estimate it.

Zuffster, if anything it's the other way round.

Not that I weigh 150kg, but Im pretty sure the old boy's got a fair weight advantage on me.

BTW, Im 6 ft 2 and weigh 92kgs, the old blokes probably (and forgive me if I offend) 80kgs wringing wet!
