How's the search for the dash kit going Whitey??? I'm after one now.

Don't get me wrong Rizk. You've given a lot of good advice over several threads (well OK heaps) here, it's just that I can't find a bad word about the metra kit?? I agree,. it probably won't be as tidy as a $200 kit and yours looks beautiful. Oh well, I guess I can try the cheaper one and either be happy or hold myself up and say bugger, should have listened to Rizk LOL

A year ago there was heaps of talk regarding the metra kit. Some US guys loved it and alot didn't.

The thing is mine looks good in a photo and the metra does not. That would indicate the quality between them.

Okay I take that back.

Most of the installs I saw were ***** to say the least but this Z owner has made a excellent job of the metra kit

at leaast it is a better fit than nothing at all

i mean my centre consol looks like crap cause of the curve

so anything is better

I'm waiting to hear back about the shipping costs and the like. Whitey, they should also accept credit card pymnts if you have ID proof such as drivers license. That's what I'm (trying to) doing to avoid the $30 wire transfer fee.

I'll let you know - I'm off to Sydney/Melbourne for the next few days back in Perth on Monday night so it'll be a while before I know some more.

I know ANZ charged me about AUD$25 to wire transfer but they mentioned that if you did it online it is about AUD$15
