Yes Yun, it's from GTA. Have you seen the car?
What's the reputation of GTA like as a car dealer?
They seem to be pretty straight.
Would like tyo hear your feedback

Had a near miss tonight. I'm teaching on a course in Moe. One of the students on the course reversed her car into mine. Fortunately the stillen grille took the impact and the plastic nissan grille underneath was not damaged - just the sort of thing that happens when you're trying to trade your car!
Good of her to 'fess up (left her number etc under the wiper). Anyhow the metal grille is off and noone will be the wiser. Phew.
Would have been just my luck to have the car pranged at this stage

The R34 on the left (my friends car) also purchased from GTA. Their car is pretty clean (no fark around like other dealer) But the price also a bit higher too. If you know them well enough, maybe they can give you a special deal.....

TAKE CARE - I looked into imports before I bought the Z.
It seems that there's no regulations that make it an offence in Japan re doctoring speedos, as in Aus.
There's a seeming disparity between wear, age, and the peculiarity of missing details and the averages that one would expect.
There's a burgeoning industry in Japan with these untravelled vehicles and winding back the odometers!

If I could afford to choose between an R34 GT-R and something else, I'd probably take the GT-R too. Mind you, at that price bracket I'd be deciding between getting a "dual purpose" daily-driver / quick sports car like the GT-R, and buying some cheap commuter and getting a Lotus Exige.
The GT-R will probably be faster, but by all accounts the Exige is one of the most enjoyable pure sports cars you can drive, although its one of the least enjoyable street cars out there.
Good luck on the purchase; the car is undoubtedly faster than the Z33 (and can be made to go much, much faster). Its also more exclusive, and slightly more practical.

I think that GTR your friend bought has been dragged raced A LOT accoriding to GTA.... did you friend got that car lately (within 1-2 months time?!).... because I was down there and was doing the car shopping for a GTR, the guy told me that they used this white one for drag race and he recommanded me not to get that one... what I could remember on that car was the Nismo front bumper and that set of rims.... plus the catch oil tank in the engine bay!
Neil:
That seems to be a good deal though... not much milage on the car... good on ya! Looking forward to hear from you soon!
cheers,
richie

Contrats on your new toy, but I'm a little sad to see another Zed bite the dust, so what's the insurance going to be like for the GTR and watch out for the cops they'll be pulling you over just to try and defect the car, barstards, it'll be like bees to the honey.

That's exactly correct... my friend has got a blue GTR with standard front lip extension, and he got defected because the cop said it was too low.... yellow sticker straight away after he just got a standard GTR.... that was ridiculous...
Neil:
I can recall which GTR is that already.... I was going for that one, but when I went in, the guy told me that THIS PARTICULAR GTR (82K was the price) has been sold because he has already taken the deposit and the car has undergone compliance testing... that's also the reason why I didn't get a GTR because this was the lowest milage GTR that I could find at that time and that was like dream got broken down.... anyway... ask the guy more about this car because the GTR that I was after was up for advertisement for a long while.... make sure it is not the same one, and if that happens to be the same one with the same milage, find out why it is up for sale again... I would suggest you to undergo engine testing before you put big penny down on this car...
cheers,
richie

dude id b very skeptical of ne grey import with "low kays"
it is very easy to wind them back as u have no real proof of the cars history. If it does have genuine 5000km, the engine wouldnt b in good condition having being driven so little in all those yrs
or it could b like my mates tt soarer, and have only 20,000kms on the clock yet a steering wheel worn so badly the plastic has peeled away

Its not illegal to modify the speedo in Japan, so a lot of people do.
Its best not to trust the "mileage" on the screen (if a GT-R has only done 5000km in 5 years, then it sounds like a toy car where the owner only ever takes it out for touge / circuit work, so the engine has spent all 5000km in the top third of the rev range), but actually look at the car and check the wear rates on the interior and exterior, and drive the car around to listen for squeaks, rattles, and how the engine goes.
