No 350zs in Daytona 200 in '05?
I'm doing a little work for a new team that's looking to run a partial schedule with at least 1 350Z in 2005, and have a new set of triple adjustable Motons in front of my desk that I'm hand delivering tonight. The hope is a partial season in '05 and a full season in 2006.

The driver lineup has not been announced yet, but it will not likely be anyone that has run in the series regularly recently. The idea is to take a competitive team and move from club racing to pro racing, and for various reasons, the 350Z in GAC GS made the most sense. Realistically, I would be surprised to see the car in any GAC race before Watkins Glen given where the team is based and the current status of the car. The car may be done in time for the California races, but would make no sense for an east coast based team to go there with an untested car.
I'm not sure that they have a set of 350EVO sway bars, but there will be some parts ordered from there if none have yet been ordered

It's a shame to see the 350Z absent from Grand-Am Cup. I was "watching" T&S while I was away for work in Houston, and I was surprised not to see any Z's entered. I hadn't been on My350Z.com to read the news. Let's hope things change soon.
I sent an e-mail last year to some vp on nissannews.com last year regarding the GAC 350z's and Nissan's lack of recognition on nissannews.com. The response I got back was that Nissan wanted to focus on their strength, which was SCCA.
If everybody sends them an e-mail, then maybe they'll listen.
Michael.
