What kind of trailer would you recommend to haul a set of wheels? Do you have to do any fabrication to one?

John,

You've seen mine. It seems to be very popular for a track hauler. I picked it up at Harbor Freight, unassembled for $129. (list price is $189) It includes frame, wiring, lighting, bearings, wheels, tires, etc. All I added was a sheet of 2'x4' preasure treated plywood on the front half to mount my toolbox, and air tank, and used 4x4 posts in the rear half to form my tire rack.

No mods are needed to make this work with the Z.

How much longer do I have to procrastinate?

Not sure I like the vertical receiver.

A friend used a U-Haul Sport trailer to haul his Hoosiers to an event last year and was very pleased with how well it worked.

Lets see if I can attach a pix.......

Site jams, D*MN!

Default Fit a G34C?

Do you have any idea if the bumpers are sufficiently similar between the 350z and G35c for the hitch to work? If it will work, I am a customer.

My first guess would be that they are not exact, and that a similar design, with different dimensions would work. I can't say for sure without pulling the bumper cover off of a G35.

If someone in my area wants to offer up their G for us to look at, I'd be happy to spend a few hours taking measurements.

I've sent the order for the first five to the fabricator. He'll keep the jigs up through the week, so any additions to the order through Friday at 4:00 pm Eastern time can still get in on this order.
