Default Suspension Set-Up

I just installed a set of JIC FLTA-2 Coilovers and some 350EVO Sway bars. I have the sways set to medium. I just got back from my "test drive" and I don't really know what to think. The car gets loose pretty easy. The pitch is drastically reduced though. It seems like if I was on race tires and a track instead of the streets of Las Vegas, the car would be increadible. I am not planning on racing around the streets of Vegas, but I just dont want to lose it trying to make a red light at a left turn. Does anybody out there have the same or a similar set up that they can tell me what it is set at? I autocross and track my car quite often. Thanks.

The Jic setup does transfer a lot of roll stiffness to the rear of the car, 20% to be exact. So with a med/med setup on the EVO bars would still transfer more rollstiffness to the rear then other setups running the same bar settings. I would drop the rear bar to soft and retest. Do you have a tire temp gauge?

No I don't have a tire temp gauge. The tires were cold though. I am starting to get used to the set up, I will try changing the setup on the rear bar, but oversteer is not really a problem. I did not know that the JICs transfer 20% to the rear though. Thats good to know. Thanks.

What I meant is that the car slides a little when entering a turn, but there is no understeer or oversteer. I don't know what I have the dampening at, I bought the JICs used and I just put them on.

Mike-
Mine are supposed to ship today. I'll see what they're like when I get them on and let you know where the shop sets the adjustments.
My wifes' out at Green Valley Ranch at this very moment entertaining 40 of her companies' best clients. I hope it's warmer than it is here in Portland.

Bruce - Thanks. It will probably get close to 70 here in Vegas today. It has been pretty warm the past week. Sounds like your wife has a really fun job.
