Benny, Koni SA = Koni Yellows!

The DA's are coming from Truechoice (and thru BCR).

But isn't a DA a hair style from the '50's?

You can buy SA's and send them to Koni to be built into DA's, as far as I know.

I bought them both used for 1100 total. I had to take the Y-pipe off because the welds where the 2 pipes become one started to crack and I was getting an exhaist leak. Its at the shop getting repaired. If I remember correctly it was 80lbs give or take.

The Y-pipe only save 8-9 lbs if I cant get the amuse one fixed up right I'm goind to run the Jic one I have.

The exhaust saves alot. When you include the pipe it is around 70lbs.

The reason about the Y pipe not saving much is if you remove the shielding off the stock Y-pipe is only weighs 16 lbs.

Don't you have to also run the same dia. and width as the stock rim? i.e: base, ethus. are 17'X7' on all 4 & Perf., Tour. are 18'X8' on all 4, yet the Track is 18'X8' front & 18'X8.5' rear. According to the rule book in stock class the rim must be identical to oem? Right?

And the OEM 17" wheels are 7 1/2" F, & 8" rear.

If can't figure it out, then maybe you shouldn't be on the track. A couple of issues back in SportsCar magazine for those who don't know - a sub. for SCCA members there was an article written by either Danny Shields or Randy Pobst about the difference between Auto-X and Road racing. For me track days are fun, a bit boring and repetitive which is much different than the excitement and challenge from Pro Solo or Solo II.

She seems bored the last time, so i dont know if she is gonna follow this time lol

If i were to get one, it will definitely be a blue one, u know that

By the way, i noticed that Gingerman has test and tune days which cost about $60 for like 3 hours on certain days of the week, just wondering if Blackhawk has these as well?

Jim/Carter

We ended up with a reservation at a Days Inn, I believe there's some hotel discussion in this thread.
