Unitech Racing & Schuitemaker Motorsports. Where were they...
yesterday? Did not see any 350Z's yesterday in the Grand-Am Cup Series season-opening on SPEED. Don't see any on the entry list for the next race. They are listed on the Grand -Am Cup Car List for 2005. They didn't do too bad at all the first 2 seasons. Anybody know what happened?

I do not beileve the schuitemakers will be racing at all this year...
2 of the Performance NISSAN cars were sold... the 23 car will only be racing in the CA events...

Correction.....Schuitemaker Motorsports will be racing this year in 4-5 races. Mid Ohio, Watkins Glenn, VIR, Barber are all for sure.
We are working on a new package right now that will make the 350Z a little more competitive with the M3's and the new Mustangs. Part of this package is our 3.9 final drive and possibly our new intake manifold.
We also have a customer that we are running one of the new mustangs with in GAC and will be racing it at Laguna Seca this year and a couple other venues. We ran it at the opening race but had transimission troubles (only had 2,4,6 gears) and ABS issues(intermitant ABS sucks) The car has plenty to TQ!!!
Team owner Michiel Schuitemaker and his wife just had their first child back in late December so he is concentrating on being a dad/husband and securing things for 2006. He is getting the bug to get back at it.
The game plan for 2006right now is:
1- 2 350Zs in GAC
and
1 Infiniti powered Daytona Prototype with 350EVO as a partial sponsor.
We will see how it goes,
Cheers
