Track Event @ Hallet, OK - June 4th, 2005
Where: Hallet Motor Racing Circuit in Hallet, OK
When: Saturday June 4th
I will soon own a Z, but I come from the world of Honda. As such, I hang out on Prelude sites and have met many great people who I have become friends with. Starting in 2003, Honda Prelude enthusiasts have had a "National Prelude Meet". It usually consists of a gathering of 80-100 cars (mostly Preludes but other cars as well) and is spread out over an entire weekend. We usually have a drag session, track session, BBQ, and a car show. Last year it was held in Pennsylvania, with the track session being at Beaver run. We had a really good turnout last year for the meet and the track session.
This year, participation has been lacking. If we don't get more people to sign up for the track portion, we will be forced to cancel the track session. So the coordinators have asked to put the word out to anyone who would like to participate to come check out the website and sign up. The track session only costs $120 for six 15 minute runs and will include certified instructors and lunch provided at the track. Most of you who HPDE know this is a pretty good deal, as most HPDE's range from $150-200.
The Z's and other high HP cars will probably be running their own group(s) so as not to cause issues w/ passing on the track and such. More information will come along as we see how many non-Prelude's have signed up. I know I will be running my Z (so long as I actually have it by then) and there will be a few other high HP cars, such as Sti's, Evo's, and Corvette's there as well.

C'mon, you know you want to! Come on out with fellow automotive enthusiants and have a great time as well!
