Just a side note, Steve. The fluid expelling itself was from the differential boiling over... That was the longest run we've done with the car since vastly improving it's speed, and it showed how much the car needs a cooler, which we've been putting off (until now...).

My wife and I are the couple that tracked the white roadster. We got approval from Chin. This was our first time on the track. We had so much fun, that we came home and bought a '92, 300ZX to fix up and track. The new track car's a T-Top. We'll be looking to Nick at N-Tech for sound advice and quality parts. Next time it won't be so easy to pass us on the track.

Oh yeah... Nick I meant to tell you...
I seem to remember that you guys have run into problems with the stock diff on the 350z over heating... I'm not sure how much you've heard from other race teams about that, but Nissan has released some info on it... Nissan Comp has a diff that solves the problem. It would probably be worth a phone call to them if ya haven't talked to them
Regards

So Nick, what are the chances of you making it out to the Southwest region in September? Would love to see that car in person (especially after reading about what went into it over the last 2 years)...not to mention having an HPDE instructor who has as much "Z" time as you.
I think the furthest west we're going to go with the car this year is Alabama. We have a lot going on this year, and hopefully there will be even more to talk about soon. I believe I'll be making a trip out to California in the coming weeks, but it won't be with the car.
I guess a better question is what are the chances of you coming to Florida, Virginia, Alabama, or Georgia in the coming months? I think that's the only way we'll have live contact this season, though who knows...
What's happening in September, anyway?

Fall season race weekend at Arizona Motorsports Park. I'd love to head East, but unfortunately it wouldn't be with the car. I'll keep my eye on the schedules to see if I'd be able to make an event, even if it's as a spectator.
