Default Track Day 6/28 Big Willow (Willow Springs International Speedway)

So I finally made it back to Big Willow after the Twin Turbo, HKS Hipermax RS, stoptech rotors, and Enkei 19 x 10 upgrades

I didn't push the car quite as much as I should have, I guess I was a bit more gun shy then I thought I was going to be.

whatever the case may be, I didn't squeal any tires, or go anywhere near going off track and I ended up with a pretty decent 1:45 (or somewhat less) time. I was consistent with 1:45-1:55 without any stress.

I figure I could have pushed another 3-5 seconds off without risking too much, so maybe I'll get that next time.

I believe it is johnny who usually runs the events, but this time he wanted to drive more than run the event so Kailo ran the event and Johnny was putting down 1:33 with his track ready (tires & monster wing) Porsche (I don't know enough about these cars to tell you which model).

I was running my Toyo Proxes T1-S street tires. With the Kumho's I would squeal and start to lose traction.

I put on over 150 miles that day, visited 120/130 down the back straight, into turn 8, held 100 through the turn, and came through 9 between 80-90.

Got through 120 on the front straight, before the 90 degree left turn into turn 1.

A couple cars did go off track that day, one with enough damage to shut it down for the day, another just called it quits after the shake up.

Otherwise, just another glorious day at the track.
