Allowable changes for BS stock
Quick question
are you allowed to change the springs with the shocks for BS class, and which would be the best to use with a set of koni's
Also I have the 18" track wheels on my enthusiast now and the people at this weekends event were not sure what class that moved me up to until I get the 17" stock ones back on it. Any help appreciated.

Check out the rules for yourself, they are online: http://scca.org/_filelibrary/File/2005SoloRules.pdf
The short answer is, if it normally wears out, you can replace it. Tires, shocks, air filter, fluids, exhaust (cat-back) -- yes. Pretty much everything else -- no.
Wheels are one of those areas that are explicit -- you have to have the same size wheels (diameter, width, and within 1/4" offset) that originally came on your model. Dealer-installed options do not count.
So, while you could buy a "Nismo-prepped" car from a dealer (and I believe even order it that way), it still would not be in BS since the car was not manufactured with those parts.
Keep your 18" for the street, and mount up some Kumho 710s on your original stock wheels.
