Default racing seats

please , need suggestions on racing/performance seats to allow me to use my HANS device(have rollbar with 6p harness).
need seat easy to install , preferably with rails that fit 350z without need to create or forge rails. also seats that may lower seating position a bit.

Corbeau seats will make seat brackets that fit the 350Z, but it will take 4-5 weeks. I have their CR1 seats in my Z and I love them, although they sit a little higher than the stock seats, which is not what you are looking for. I would contact them and see if they can accomodate your needs. Their prices are good too compared to Bride, Recaro, Sparco, etc...

Yeah they are lighter. If you want even lighter than those then you can go for the fixed back seats. These ones still recline.

if you want lower seat height, any of the seat bases that come with Sparco/Recaro/Bride actually sit a little lower than stock... but only if you DO NOT USE THE SLIDERS. then it starts to raise it up...

Tanabe USA just release their integrated rails with lower seating positon. check out this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ht=seat+height

as for my seats. i just did a custom seat bracket. its worth it to get it custom done so it will fit you the best.

Jose:

I would suggest either visiting a race-shop that has a large selection of seats. Just like helmets, you should spend some time in several different seats to see what works / is comfortable for you. I've had a Sparco Evo on my "want" list for awhile now - but the only way I know that's the seat I want is because I've sat in it and it fits me the best (since I'm slender). Plus it has enough padding to be relatveily comfortable for long drives to the track. For a passenger seat, I'll likely got with something wider - like the Evo2. As for brackets, I'd recommend going custom as they shouldn't cost much more than the ones Sparco offers. Plus it'll give you the optimum seat height that you want. I'm sure you can find a good fabricators somewhere down there in Alabama who will take care of you.

Jose,
contact Speedware Motorsports (425-869-5680) or www.speedwaremotorsports.com. They built my 350Z racecar and are a major distributor for both Sparco and Recaro. They also manufacture all of the seat frames for Sparco. They can build custom frames as well. I would suggest a Recaro seat, look at a SPG.

i have a slider that's made for 350z, it lowers the seat quite a bite.
asking 125USD shipped for 1, or 200USD shipped for 2.
here's the pic
