Why Not More 350Z’s in US Road Racing?

Grassroot Motorsports magazine did a comparo between the Turner Motorsport BMW Grand-Am vs. the Speed Challenge cars. As it turned out, the Challenge 325i cost twice that of the GA 330i to prep.

What it costs to run the Rolex series, WRC, AMLS, JGTC, Cart, and F1 is pretty much out of my comprehension. I don't know much about Nascar racing, but I imagine it takes a heap of money turn a Pontiac Grand Prix into a race car...
