anyone done somehting like this?

Sorry my explaination is weak
I have. I took a piece if metal at work, drilled 2 holes, then bent it to where I needed it. If you have ever seen my in-car 1/4 vid it was taken from my ghetto camera mount. It was free to make, and it works.

i have used a mount where there are two holes drilled into aluminum with a camera attachment on the end. i did not have any vibrations and the position and quality were quite good. i'd recommend it! not too tough to DIY. do-it-yourself. not dyi. do-yourself-it.

I just learned that the Australian alphabet says Zed instead of Z so from your signature I thought you may be Australian.

In non-English speaking countries - "Zed"
ONLY IN AMERICA - "Zee"
