Much to my surprise, I noticed the S2000 is listed in B-Stock in the new SCCA Solo 2006 rule book... but it is also listed, with more detailed years in A-Stock... just a typo... correct?

S2000 should be in A-Stock...
Maybe they droped it to B-stock?
I mean A-Stock is really filled with super cars and handling machines like Lotus Elise

It's probably a mistake. The A-Stock class lists Honda S2000 (00-03) and S2000 ('04+). The one in B-Stock has no model year specified. Maybe their intent is that any S2000 that doesn't fit into the "A" class would fall into "B". The only problem is that I don't think they make S2000's before 2000 so there wouldn't be any that aren't covered in "A".

 

It's a mistake -- the 2006 rule book was unfortunately full of them. All years of S2000 are in A Stock.

yep. there was a thread over on the sccaforums about this. definitely a mistake in the rule book.

ps. the elise does not run AS.
