I just signed up for this event with NCRC (Northern Cali racing club) for April 16th...it's still 2 months away, but if you sign up now, you'll get the 'earlybird'
fee and if it's your first time with the club, you'll get an extra 33% off!! (I did this last year, and for the cost, it's hard to beat!)...total cost is around $175

***if you're new, sign up and put 'Peter Umino' as your reference (I get a discount for refering ppl)
I really enjoyed my time with NCRC last Oct. They were a well organized club and it wasn't too crowded. They split the time into 3 or 4 run groups, with 30 minute sessions...if you want, you can also run in the group 1 down from yours--I did this and ended up not running all of the possible sessions b/c I was sooo tired (it's really a lot of track time). There were no incidents (crashes or anything like that) and it was a safe day. (Thunderhill is a great track...there's only 1 wall on the straigth, which makes the possibiltiy of hurting your car much less.)
if you want to see a vid of Thunderhill, here's a link to my vid (I posted this about a week ago): http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...49519130589421
