Here are some shots of TCDesign my rollbar. Notice the slightly obstructed view out of the rear view mirror (wing doesn't help this either).
The driver seat travel is only affected by one click. Passenger seat is slightly affected, but who cares I never sit there.

Yep, you will definitely need to dump your stock seats if you want the roll bar!
One last question, how are the seats to just drive around town in?

To drive around town, the seats are fine. Not good for long trips though - I get sore after 1.5 to 2 hours and need to get out and stretch.

Here are some pics of my seat install. Note that I had to shim the seat mount to get the wings of the seat to clear the door panel. The seat is about as far back as I can get it against the roll bar. (Thanks to Brian for these pics!). Forgive the "unfinished" appearance of the mounts - I need to paint them. The upright part is actually from the factory Corbeau mount kit (but the lower part doesn't work at all in the Z).

Looks like you just used a piece of angle-iron? Is it 1-1/2" or 2"?

Yep, that's all it is! Simple but effective (heavy, but strong as hell - stronger than the floor pan that it's bolted to). I don't even recall the dimensions; I'll have to measure.
