I was looking the speed chanel last weekednd when to my surprise
I see this guy with the a big GTR sign in front of his shirt. I was like
The GTR was on the last places but good to see that it is into the game.

Yeah, too bad the GT-R couldn't have done better. But it could have been worse. Atleast it wasn't one of the 6 or so cars that had trannies blowing-up, flats and other problems. I think anything other than last place or a DNF was a victory for the car, driver & team on their first time out.
I don't normally follow any GT racing series, since we can't get Super GT coverage here state-side. At 20 or so laps around Sebring it was pretty quick to watch when it was Tivo-ed. I think I'll follow this series just to see how the GT-R does in it.

The SPEED Touring and GT series are both very entertaining to watch on TV and in person. The Skyline has an uphill battle ahead of it in GT, given the budgets and commitment of some of the front-running teams (not to mention driving talent and experience), but it's great to see another privateer join the fray. Good luck to them.
