Pungo July 2nd autocross

This is the reminder that this Sunday there is an autocross at Pungo. You can mapquest to Pungo Pizza, Princess Anne Rd., and the entrance is less than 500ft from this location.

You can run if you tech first. Be there by 8:30-9:00 if you plan on running (cost $20.00 I think). To be a spectator, just sign a waver and first heat cars are off by 11:00.

Plenty of cool makes and models to hold your attention. Bring loose clothes, sunblock and a chair as the forcast is for HOT.

I raced a Divisional there back in '04, it's a very excellent venue for racing. You can check out the hovercraft and DNF into water, haha.

i remember the last divisional i went to there we had like 4" of rain.. in a day. sooo horrible. and then the concrete started breaking up in one of the corners before the slalom. yikes.

 

I actually love to race in the rain....
