BBK with 17 in wheels
Not to hijack the thread, but I think this could be helpful and on-topic.
OK, so I'm looking at track (that's track-use, not Track-model) wheels to go over my OEM Brembo setup. Not too many plans to go bigger on the brakes, I bought what I though I needed in the first place.
Pertinent info is this:
Must be non-staggered
Must clear stock Brembos
Must be cheep (<~ $1600)
Must be 9.5" wide to fit the widest tires possible (I see a lot of 17x9.0)
Must have offset to run without spacers.
Light fender work not a problem, I'll roll or cut to get my precious 275 or 285 under there.
Wheels can be cast but can't be junk.
No fanciness like fake rivet heads or polished lip. Don't care what the "dish" looks like.
If I can get a good price on the LMGT4 18x9.5 30mm, they fit the bill (little more expensive) but will cost me an arm and a leg in tires when I start eating the expensive stuff.
I've combed through this thread and the aforementioned 17" wheel thread, and don't see anyone running a 17x9.5" wheel over the stock Brembos or any aftermarket BBK. So is anyone running a 17x9.5" over stock Brembos or aftermarket >13" BBK?
Are the stock Brembo calipers considered "large" in relation to their rotor size? Does anyone have a Stop-Tech-like fitment template for the OEM Brembos?
Thanks in advance for saving me enough money to buy 6 sets of tires where I'd only be able to buy 5 with the LMGT4s.

No, not at once! Just looking at the long-term cost of tires. It's like $1100 for 275 18" and $800 for 275 17" in the same tire in some cases, so with the cost difference, I can get more of the 17" tires over time. Like 6 for the price of 5 in my example.
To fill everyone in, 350ZNV has given me a lot of good info on the Nismos, now I'm just looking for options before I jump. If there are no good 17" options that fit all my criteria, then the Nismos are the way to go!

17x9 +35 5Zigen fn01rc's with 275/40 hoosiers with 3mm spacer and 17x9.5 +38 5Zigen ProRacer GN+ with 274/40 Falken Azenis and 3mm spacer fit over my 13inch Stoptech kit. Ideally I'd use less offset but I use these wheels on my z32 also.

I use Enkei RPF1's in 17x9 +35 with a 15mm spacer. Same setup front and rear with 275 V710's.
Light wheel... only 15.9lbs each. Paid around $1200 for the wheels and spacers were around 250ish.
Btw, they clear the Brembo's by about 2-3mm in the front... it's tight, but they fit. No fender-work necessary.
