It's all in Carter's hands (and capable hands they are).

The RX-8s CAN be beat -- if my first ever Pro experience (on Rob Hines' old T2 takeoff V710s that I've been running since APRIL) are any indication (only 0.2 out of trophies -- and all of the trophy winners were on NEW tires).

Go Carter!!!!

courses were both great today, despite some much drama over the grip levels at hpt! hopefully i'll be able to pull it up and come home with the 2nd trophy for the z-crowd!

in that order.

Congrats to Carter for the 2nd. Wish he'd beat ullose though! Great finish for a 350Z, prove everyone wrong that it's not a good car for BS!

Carter had fastest time today in BS by quite a bit -- on a course that some of the RX-8 guys thought favored them.

Also in the trophies was an MR-2. Looks like BS isn't "stock RX-8" after all.

Oh, and I've got an "interesting" video of my second run on Tuesday, where the start cone goes across the front of the car -- because I'm sliding sideways through the start lights.

I definately did NOT drive well.

(Oh, and hot cones smell *NASTY* but work well a "last resort brake" when wrapped around the rotor...)

<-- thatwas me!

well, today didn't fair well for me either. i ended up getting so many cones on my first two runs that i concentrated on being getting a clean run in for my third.. although it was infinitely slower. i'm sad that i plowed the finish on my first run today since onlookers say it was about a 53.xx. guess there's always next year!

Carter had a great run on Weds.... He took top time on the east course that I tought would favor the RX8 by .3. Lucky for me I had him by .4 on the west course. No excuse for the Z boys not to come play with us now.

btw for those that did not check PDX racer got owned by the girls.

Carter was as pleased as I have ever seen him with 2nd place. The RX8 BS group is loaded with great drivers and really fun to compete with.
The West course was a bit slick and the Z had push problems but the car was hooked on the East(what a difference a days running makes on that surface) and Carter left nothing on the table.
