Just got back from CA Speedway
What a great time! My first time on a track with my Z, and it was awesome. Hugh shout out to Michael at VRT for inviting me, and for the great job they did getting my Vortech installed and running.
I think I did real well for my first time. I passed a lot of people and was never passed. By the end of the third session, I was hitting apexes more consistantly and was fairly happy the progress I made.
I was really able to push the car and happily found that its limits were a lot more than I had previously thought. Right now the car can handle more than I am comfortable giving it. More track time and I should be more comfortable with the high speed turning, but right now my brain is saying whoa!
For anyone that hasn't done this, I highly recommend it. Its so much more satisfying than autocross because you can attack the turns over and over again until you get it right.

Glad to hear you had fun. You should come up to Infineon (Sears Point) with us the second weekend in November.
