I think we picked up three more instructors (including you) over the last couple days, and frankly, I'll be closing registration for all sometime today. We're actually a little over-booked as far as instructors go... which I guess is a good thing

On VIR Full course, we have limited cars to about 35 per run group, give or take 3-5 depending on experience level and track layout. Obviously, smaller tracks, fewer cars on track at a time. Our insurance max is 15 cars per mile... but we usually only do about 10 per mile

Good to hear I squeaked in - hopefully the weather will hold out for the remainder of the winter and we'll have a mild season-opener... I sent you an email last night about helmet - have a look at it when you have a chance.

I bet you hit your rev limiter befor the braking zone of turn 1 (only real braking zone on the whole track). Great track - yet on the back part - if you screw up one turn it takes 3 to 4 turns to get back on the racing line. And the next to last turn (7) is off camber on the outside of the track, so enter that turn at mid track.
I remember that the guys at Triangle Z club had a great write up on how to drive the track properly. Ask them for a copy before showing up.

I recant my previous statement of staying east-side... as of today it's official, I'm leaving the right coast and moving west. This event will be my last in the area for a long time (CA tracksters beware!)...

Hope to see you at our activities. The season is just about to restart mid Feb.

Less than a week to get your cars ready! I know mine's not!
Replaced my hubs and brake fluid this weekend... still waiting on some parts for the suspension and I need to get some tires...

Heck, I may have the strangest combination of tires used at a TZC weekend.

As a matter of fact... there may be a couple slots that have opened up if anyone is still interested (I need to know, like today though)
Weather is looking up
