Default stock tire pressure

what is a good auto-x tire pressure to run on the stock 17" bridgestones? this will be my first solo2 event w/ the Z, plan on switching to r-comps next season, car is bone stock, only had for a week(never spent more time driving in 7 days than any other week in my life ). any recommendations would be awesome. thanks.

Somewhere in the 40-50 PSI range.

I usually use 44F, 40R, but your pressures may vary.

Those are "hot" PSI readings, correct PDX?

Those are *COLD* PSI readings, for track usage you want "hot" PSI, so start a bit lower than that.

Depending upon when the tires were inflated (ie. how much water vapor is in the air), you probably want to start at 40-42F, 36-38R -- that should give you around 46F/42R hot. Change the pressures as necessary to fine-tune the balance of the car.
