Jose and I had a great time at Roebling Road last weekend...lots of fun. This was my second time on this track, so any suggestions are welcome.

why did you lower the psi? and did I hear a woman's voice over the radio in the background?

Nice vid Sharif. Looks like you're really pushing the car out there. What was your top end on that one stretch?

 

Your driving looks very smooth, Sharif - nice. Very important to be smooth with a 650whp car!

The car looks like it corners very flat - what kind of suspension set-up are you running (sways/spring rates/shocks/camber)?

 

Top speed at the end of the straight was 170mph max...most of the time about 165mph...turn 1 about 85mph.

Suspension is pretty basic stuff: Tein Flex Coil Overs, Hotchkis sways, and Hoosiers.

I was listenging to Fox News channel...forgot to turn it off. I run 15psi at the track with pump gas....no need or sense to run anymore than that. Works out to about 550whp.

that looks like a great run....i got a great feeling just watchin you pass people! car seems real stable at high speeds and turns...doesnt take much...great setup

Good to see you out on the track Sharif! Your driving is indeed smooth, which is good. Your lines looked pretty good for the most part as well, maybe a little later apex could help on a few of those turns. Also, there didn't seem to be any real hard braking judging by the video, but that is tough to judge without being there in person. Also, what BOV is that? I have never heard one sound like that before.

Hey cool... you brought the video camera this time. You handle that 550hp on the track well. Nice and smooth. When you go to pass it looks like everyone is standing still.

 

Roebling has only two hard breaking zones, unlike most tracks, so your perception is correct. The super hard breaking zone is the end of the straight, and all other braking areas are a quick stab at the pedal.

 

wow, that pic was definately a blast from the past. That was my first trip to Roebling about two years ago, with a stock engine and about 8psi, IIRC.

The only suggestion I have Sharif is to let me drive it some time.
