I need help! Please take a look at my entry into the GRM Ultimate Track Car Challange. Feedback on how to improve my write up or pictures would be great.

Thanks - but that is not the kind of feedback I was looking for. More around the write up so that GRM will sellect my car from the write up. Here is what GRM is looking for :

Might want to add some more pics.
Maybe some engine, interior, and even a under carriage shot. If you know anyone around you that does magazine quality photography, maybe see if they will do a little photo shoot? I'm sure they wouldnt mind the coverage.
Oh, maybe add a GRM sticker somewhere on the car, they seem to like that!

Find someone who has a data acquisition box (G2X, DL1, Traqmate) and get some hard numbers - 0-60, 1/4 time and speed, lateral g's, braking distances. You can basically generate the entire 'data panel' that most magazines use in a big parking lot with only a few different runs. For example, do a 1/4 run, then when through the 'traps' (mark off 1/4 mile with visible items), max brakes until stopped. This will give you 0-60, 1/4 time and speed, braking distances both 100-0 and 60-0. Lateral G's can be measured by finding a community college where they teach motorcycle training. They'll almost definately have a 300' circle to drive around. And yes, I would recommend you get permission from them to do the testing on the lot
oh, and in your cardomain write up, you're using 'board' where you should be using 'bored'.
ahm

Snowhiteboiler - thanks I was pretty tired when I wrote it.
Amolayer - GRM is a little different than most magazines. They don't focus on numbers like Road & Track does, they only numbers they do focus on is lap times around track. So, I will put down some numbers I have.
Axelerate - Good idea about the pictures, I will have to think about what they will want to see, and take some.

I would suggest putting a GRM and a NASA sticker on your car. It would catch their attention quicker than if you didn't have them.
For the writeup, I've noticed that GRM is more technical than most other autophile mags. Perhaps elaborate on why you selected each of the major upgrades. GRM seems to douse their articles with "I chose xxx LSD because I needed grip on the tight corners...resulting in .6 seconds off my previous best lap at VIR... I dropped 120lbs from the rear by upgrading the muffler and removing the spare, so to deal with the oversteering problems, I installed a xxx wing", etc.... Perhaps even mention what inspired the color scheme...
Lap times would be informative, but I don't recall GRM posting lap times in their articles. Improvements in lap times based on upgrades is a bigger focus.
Nice car, btw!

Maybe change the first sentence to read like: The Moody way to the ultimate track car....
As for the rest of it it's a good read. But if all I scanned was the first line I would have passed on an article in the magazine.
GRM is generally on the cheap side of things so I would not mention how much you have spent.
just my 2 cents,
Mike

Mpowers - you are right, the sentence is probably the most important one and get rid of the money pit. I am going to work on this one.
About expanding the write up like dnguyent said, it would become several pages long, I was thinking that I wanted to keep it to one page - like a resume. What do you guys think?

Definitely need to work on the write up. To be honest it wasn't all that interesting. More verbs and more data are needed. I wouldn't list the parts as part of the story I'd put that at the end. Include pictures of the mods and like what was mentioned above describe their effectiveness.
