This was video from my first session out with the 350z at the Shenandoah Circuit using the pit road and karrousel configuration:

Like I said, this was my first session out on the first day running Bridgestone RE050A's. The first few laps are fairly slow, half way through the pace picks up as I'm chasing an 80's Porsche 911 turbo on RA-1's. Matter of fact I was one of the few cars on street tires in Advanced class...

Sorry for the over exposed footage.
Nice meeting you again, Tmak...

You were lapping in the 2:10 range, not bad at all.
I am uploading my videos now, this is a scary one for me. I almost lost the car, was trying to run fast in pouring rain with slicks and cold tires (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTfpwSkFsJw)
Here is my hotlap, I think poor Dave wanted to buy life insurance while he was in the middle of it.

Wow, by watching your videos I have picked up on a lot of areas to improve. Most noticable was the upshift to 4th before turning in at Big Bend. Hopefully I'll be able to get away with that on street tires.
The reason to short shift there is to avoid upsetting the car at that speed through that turn. Our car have power to short-shift (your car does seem faster too), so keep that in mind. Line up our video side by side, you will know where you can improve. I do have race tires, so my car will corner faster. If anything, look into the lines. Some of the instructors weren't even showing student's the right line, it was crazy!!! Just look at how many people I picked off through out the day, I lapped the field in 3 different sessions.

You just have to show him you are faster without sliding next time, look at how easy it is to pick up time when he is sliding and I am straight. I really hope people don't learn that if they want to be fast.
