I had the pleasure of seeing Jason "drift" thru the same gate twice this weekend. We found out later what was causing his "drift" events to happen -- he was mashing the pedal too much instead of modulating it. If you look at the last picture, my Z was next in-line to run and I was at the starting point when this happened. I'm just glad he did not slam into that pool, considering the skid marks leading to it.

High HP/torque disease = the throttle is an on/off switch.

Learning to modulate the throttle is the key for a good driver.

Actually, if you look closely at the first picture, it was a cone that he should be hugging. The cone may have slowed down and possibly stopped his Z from hitting the pole.

ya....i lost it in the weirdest spot....

i know my throttle was a big culprit.......but i did have some crappy rear tires.....

i couldnt push the car at all because i could feel the rear end coming out.

Im definatly buying some competition tires. i doubt ill be back at the next even until i have them.....

i should hopefully have them next month..

Op, where did you get a sunroof installed at in your Z, and are you having any issues with it. By the way you must thank the Z gods for not taking your baby away.

Glad you did not dent that pole...

manufacturer: Webasto
Model number:Hollinda Medium 300

I had it installed local in sa, tx at classic softtrim for $969 total.

Ive searched on here and others quote prices in the 750 range....so i guess i payed too much!

but check out the webasto web site. and search against my name and "webasto" and you will find info.

oh ya: absolutely NO leak or anything issues!

be sure to have it installed with a relay like webasto recommends.
