Default Handling tight curves

It seems like I can enter right turns way harder than left turns. When I try to take a tight left turn hard I can feel the rear getting loose and I have to ease off. I've fish tailed a few times on tight left turns.
Is it just me or is this in general normal?

Remember with you in the car, the weight bias is on the left side of the car, which means that your left-side tires are basically "pre-loaded" while the right-side tires are "light."

If you are getting loose on left turns rather than right turns, then you are entering the left ones harder not the other way around. I think it's perception.

1) what mods do you have? (suspension stuff...springs, lowered, camber,...)
2) Have you gotten an aligment done?
3) what tires are you running and what pressures?

In our life as drivers, we make many many more right turns than left...

Think on and off interstate ramps...

You need training, that's all.

I think i usually take right turns slower because we drive on the right side of the road heh that sounds funny, but left turns you usually have more room so you might take them faster knowing you have room. When i used to go cruising with my friend in his 78 trans am, he would never take right turns fast because of the curb, but left turns were amazing haha

One thing to also remember is you tend to turn in tighter and later on the drive side of the car. So a Left hander you are turning inlater, and sharper than you would a right hander. It's just natural.

One other thought. Is this on a track, or on surface roads? Most roads are crowned, so right hand curves are 'on camber' and left hand curves tend to be 'off camber'. Maybe this is what you're experiencing.
I almost put my Z in to a pole once when I was screwing around. I took a hard left curve on a back road that started out on camber, but at the end of the curve, it dropped to off camber right as I was rolling on the throttle in 3rd gear. Tail snapped out on me, but I was thankfully able to save her before I had to write up one of those 'wrecked my Z' threads.

I get things a bit mixed up now, but on canyon roads, left hand turns use to be my "weak side." Overall I just felt more comfortable taking right hand turns more aggressively. A lot of it, if not all of it was in my head. Since I'm more comfortable with things, I don't even remember exactly if it was my left or right hand turn that was weaker.
