Not many canyons in Ohio. I reduce the front camber to -1.0 for the street.

I'll return the question to you. In your opinion, why would I need those ?

Not saying you need these items, but just curious as to why you don't consider them. Even though you're content with your current setup and with how the car handles, these basic mods would seem to improve upon things, no? But my car is stock, so what do I know.

I was testing your own experience in suspension setups.

My point is this:

Upgrading for "more better" isn't good enough. I [try to] upgrade things to address as specific behavior of the car, knowing [more or less] what compromise I'm making in the process. (God I'm putting disclaimers everywhere now...!)

For the moment, springs aren't needed as I'm not bottoming out anywhere and body roll is acceptable as dynamic camber is fairly well compensated with the static -3 degrees I run.

Tire load distribution is also acceptable, altough I won't find that out for real before I get much closer to the car's new performance envelloppe. As it is, no tire is being overloaded systematically so sway-bars aren't needed.

In the end, my current setup is very well balanced, the car feels solid and inspires confidence. That is all I'm asking of a street car at the track.

That sounded bad. I meant to say I was asking to see if you were on to something I might have missed.

I think there are no need for disclaimers, people should know this is a public forum and everything you say is opionions based on personal experience. If you recomend something, and it does not work for me and something bad happens; I donth think you or any one giving opinions should feel responsible. I for one take advise and opinions carefull and at the end I am the one making the decission.

Sorry for the offtopic, I just felt that you should be able to express what you think without worrieng as much.

The disclaimer thing is more of a comic relief. I started that after a couple of jokes came my way about mimicking my mods. Hehe.

But you knew all that, having experimented with my advice about your "Fine brakes as they are" advice... Oups!

Back on topic. I need to take some pictures of the fo*rn wheel on full steering lock. Caster+Camber makes for a pretty impressive angle!

I would highly suggest getting the ECU reflashed (I used Technosquare), makes a big difference in the driveability of the car, the power is a lot smoother, especially in higher RPM's. The higher rev limit also allows you to hold gear longer between corners, also the soft limiter instead of the harsh limiter on the OE programming allows you to bounce off the limiter if you need to.
