I believe the times were

1. 40.xxx - DNF - cone confusion at slalom
2. 38.xxx - +3 - slalom issues still
3. 39.xxx - +1 - dissapointing mistake at the very end
4. 41.xxx - clean - was too timid so I could get a clean run in, but way too slow.

Second track day on my new setup. Since I was overdriving the car last month I backed off a bit this month to try to more familiarize myself with the car again. I am "meh" about the day, I feel that I got a lot more experience with the car this time than last month, so that is great, but I feel my times are lackluster. Its easy to get discouraged and impatient, but I need to just learn the car and the rest will fall into place over time.
But I did have a blast doing it, so there's that.

Enjoy.

Welcome to autocross. I had the same feeling on Sunday and I run most every weekend across 3 states.

Ask around the events about who is the best teacher, not driver, teacher. Get them to ride with you and ride with them. Listen... I find it helps me every couple of months to get someone who is observant to ask me why I drove the way I did and then give me some constructive criticism. I also drop back to street tires at the occassional regional event to see what bad habits I've picked up.

i raced all last season as well, but this season I put on new coilovers as well as wider and more sticky rubber. So its been a change, the 03 OEM dampeners were crap in comparison to the cusco setup I have now.
