Here is a link to an article that I wrote on driving California Speedway. It is intended for the intermediate experience enthusiast, but also has notes for the beginner or novice driver. It is published in the Nissan Sport Magazine fall issue that has just been released. If you are thinking about the Nissan Performance Festival track event this December 1 & 2 at Cal Speedway, it may be worth a few minutes to look over.
I have written pieces for Reno-Fernley, and Buttonwillow (CW#13) for future issues already completed, and will be working on Sears Point and other circuits as well. There are also links to in car video segments. I hope you enjoy them.

Thanks, much appreciated!
Here is a track map for the layout that will be run at the Nissan Performance Festival. Awesome experience for a special price for newcomers to the sport. $195 for four twenty minute sessions on track, and more than two hours of classroom driver instruction and orientation to motorsports. A fraction of the normal cost just to run the track ($350 is typical) and not including all the instruction. This really is oriented to the Nissan Community by enthusiasts to help folks learn about their cars and how to drive them safely.
