how many cars and group will you be running?

I would like to run in the advance or race group if possible where there is passing in the corners

Im in ! Ive been wanting to go to this track for a while but Id love to go with fellow members.

Hopefully I will have my Vortech kit in and tuned by GTM by then

 

This is a great idea Vinh, Sam and I will definitely be there, I am glad to see more GTM cars hitting the track!

dome p 2 - the event is being held by SpeedTrialUSA. Their website has all the info you need. They normally run four groups, 2 intermediate, 1 advanced, and 1 beginner.

feel free to sign up in the advanced group.

george/sam - might even be able to help diagnose any troubles that may come up on the track like all the stuff on my bumper and along my external wastegate and frame

so whoever is going up the day before there is a small drift event at Willow. Im leaving S.D. in the mornig so I should be there by noon. If anybody wants to hang out the day before let me know and I'll give you my cell #

 

All I have to say is be extra careful at Speed Trials Events. When I posted that I would be driving in one of their events some years back someone gave me the same warning because of a bad experience with reckless drivers. Luckily everything went well and there were no incidents. At Buttonwillow a few weeks ago they had drivers with little experience making stupid aggressive passes and two cars came together badly wrecking both cars. Another person told me about a day at Willow Springs Big Track were there were so many incidents that track officials shut it down.

 

Yup, I've ran a Speedtrial Event once years back and pretty much had the same impression. Don't know why that organization tends to draw the bad seeds. Needless to say I never ran with them again. Speedventures and NCRC are always good from my experience.

I got a roadster, their web site requires roll bar. Will the roll bars behind the sets seats be ok.

 

i'm just coming in from Texas but im thinking of going. I've never been to that type of track before. Ill be coming in from Palm Springs if i do decide to go. sounds like its gonna be a lot of fun..
