Default Anyone else cut holes in the rear facotry strut brace

Ive got a set of stance coils and the only way to adjust the rear damper is to take the rear coilovers off the car(**** that). So i took those two rubber covers (on both sides of the "Z") and widened the hole where one of the clips go to about 2in by 2in (just big enough to get two fingers in) with a air powered dremmil.
The rubber covers pop right back on they didn't really need that extra clip to stay in anyways. Anyone else do this, i don't see how this would sacrifice the structural rigidity of that fat brace. ill post some pics up tomorrow, its dark out around here.

Forgive me if there was a write up about this already, i didnt really know what to search for to find this one.
