Looks like 62 degrees and rainy. More driving in the rain... Woot!

 

Getting close to the big day. Its looking like it may rain, so just that everyone understands, we will be going rain or shine! We got some track time in the rain in December and it was a fun time. See everyone on Wednesday.

 

For those driving in the rain for the first time, it's nothing to fret over. The car will slide more (obviously) and you have to be a little smoother on the gas/brake/steering... so it's a great learning experience. You'll naturally go a little slower on the turns and tend to be a little more anxious but you'll be suprised at how WELL the Z/G handles in the rain on track conditions. I've done about 7-8 track days and only had the one track day in December where it rained and have to say I learned more about smooth car control in that 1 day then the other 6-7 track events.

 

Kieth - I just got back from Memphis so I'll meet you guys at the track in the morning, highly doubt I'll get out of bed early enough to make it to Chik Fil A.

 

So mother nature seriously worked against us! There was some casual discussion about a reschedule date...what's in the works or what's the best way to arrive at some proposals? I'd like to make a motion that we try to have the rescheduled event by early May the latest. If that cramps some folks style or schedule are those individuals willing to have their fee portion bought out by subs? Thx guys!

We just need to find a date that most of us agree on and those who can't come will just have to sell their spot to someone.

I was thinking May 7 or 8. Do those days work for everyone? Is one better than the other?
