Where are you guys staying?

We have the Days Inn in Adell....it's a little far from food, but really close to the site.

The Days Inn is the nicest that is close. To get any real food you'll have to go up 1 or 2 exits. They have most of the regular sit down places ie Red Lobster, Sonnys, and maybe even an Olive Garden if memory serves me correctly.

The one nice thing about SGMP is running water and real toilets. Although the new owners are starting to neglect the site and they really could care less about us anymore. We have had multiple events cancelled because they left their RV in the middle of the lot and various other things that really shows how well they care.

I prefer the Hampton Inn at Adell. When you're old, comfort is important. There is a Hooters and an Outback closer to Valdosta with the other chains.

ULLLOSE - Thanks for the Link to Shox.

I was just yanking ULLLOSE's chain.

Mike, if you're having problems finding another set of Konis, let me know. I've got a set sitting on my garage shelf.

The insurance company finally figured out that it was totalled. The dealer has been great to work with! Hope to have the new car by next Friday. Shocks and a trailer hitch are ordered. It's going to be tight if the car will be shook out for Dixie. I might have to make a circuit of Georgia to break it in before we run.

Seems like last year waiting for the 07. We had to run the 03 with 07 wheel sizes in BSP because the 07 came in on the next Monday. I guess this keeps the heart beating...

No. I was dealing with their insurance company. However I am quite pleased with the Regal Nissan's price and they have been great. Now back to the fun!

BTW, I ran an automatic Maxima on Sunday, did pretty good and it was interesting but no Z.

Glad to hear that you'll have a ride!!!

Just curious, which hitch setup do you use? I see etrailer has one that they sell, but it looks like a bear to install. How is yours?

I settled on the Curt hitch but it hasn't gotten here yet. We'll see if I selected the right one. I previously had one fabricated based on Roark's design. I know you have to cut the rear bumber cover but the other one was kind of obvious. I had to tell too many people it was used to haul my bass boat.

Great you were able to find the same color/trim in such a short time....hopefully they are doing right by you with the price.

Are there any differences in the 2008 vs the 2007?

Please let me know what is involved with installing the Curt hitch. I read some instructions online for some brand of hitch, and it involved a lot of drilling of the rear bumper support.

I used to have a custom hitch that bolted to the rear exhaust hanger mount locations (3 bolts each) and was very sturdy. Used that for just over a year, so trying to decide between the Curt and a custom design.

Thanks in advance!

I don't see any difference other than the seat is tighter than the one I had broken in.

I don't expect the hitch to arrive until next week but the dealer is putting it on so I don't really care how difficult it is.

I'd never seen a hitch like you described. Something new every day.

No one else is going to campaign a Z in B-Stock at Dixie?

3 people in Zs, 1 Porsche and 7 RX-8 drivers. At last look 287 total participants which is 13 shy of the ceiling. Pretty good turnout!
