In case this helps

KW coilovers Variant 3
Twin tube constuction
Adjust's height via spring preload
Min/Max drop front and rear -.8" to -1.5"
Adjustable damping with separate adjustability for compression damping AND rebound damping .
Spring rates Front 485lbs to 525Lbs Rear: 240Lbs to 548Lbs (progressive springs)
Notes: High progressive rear spring rate spread that cannot be easily fixed because of the mounting diameters of the upper and lower spring seats in the height adjusting system. It still can be fixed, with a phone call to Phil at Truechoice (using their rear height adjustment system and your choice of Eibach ESS 5" OD springs 9.5" tall). You might want to do more research re: twintube vs monotube where you get beyond the typical discussion (hysteresis, fluid capacity, rebound/compression emphisis)

Curious, granted you could be considering some of this communities usual suspects, what has drawn you to the KW product?

If the info about the Nismo suspension being 35% stiffer then oem is correct your oem spirng rates are 424/576.

Call TrueChoice / Koni. You'll thank me after your wallet stops complaining (actually NOT that bad though, not sure if they have an exact application for the 08 yet but mine new goes for ~3k now). I couldn't be happier with my "Phase 4" setup (got it used but rebuilt), and I've had some nifty suspension parts on various cars (both JRZ and Bilstein Escort Cup on a 951 / Tein on an RSX-S).

I have pulled my Truechoice setup and can only recommend them to those that will auto-X where the shocks are less likely to have as much demand of them in mid and high speed compression events. Otherwise, have Truechoice use monotube 2812's in the kits vs modified yellows.

I have moved on to Bilstein PSS9 that I will respring and have revalved by a company that will give me the flexiblity to point to a dyno plot and adjust the curve to my desire.

The Nismo suspension is pretty sweet as is.
