Default 350z High Speed Track cornering

I have tried several add-ons for improved high speed track cornering and am looking for someone that has more ideas and experience with equipment providing even higher cornering speeds.

Equipment add-ons to date - Michelin Pilot Sport Cups 305 /30/19s on the rear, 265/30/19s on the front, Tien EDFS adjustable coilovers lowered 2 inches, Hotchkis front and rear stabilizer bars, Stop-Tec 6 piston/front, 4 piston rear brakes, APS turbo with full exhaust. What else works for higher corner speeds? I find it hard to believe that I am at my limit at this time. Any thoughts by those whom have tried and succeeded with additional equipment? Let me know.

First of all, the 19's are killing you. 18's will shave a few seconds off your lap times, even more so with R-compounds. Corner balancing and lightening will do wonders. Also, you may be able to fit 275's on the front if you roll the fenders.

You can't roll the front fenders.

What spring rates are you running? What are your alignment specs? What are your sway bar settings?

What tracks are you running? Are your times competetive with other cars similar to yours?

This should be posted in the Autocross /Road Racing forum.

Yeah i've noticed the Z doesn't do great for high speed handling... I've noticed this on mountain road runs... My Tiburon did better, oddly enough... I'd also like to know specifically what can be done to help remedy this.

You are kidding about the Tiburon right?

The 19's are killing ya, and a sticky tire would help also. Is the car stable at speed and the car just pushes? Or is it unstable?

No i'm not kidding about the Tiburon, don't know why everyone hates it, its not a bad car. I did have modded suspension though, so stock it probably would not have done that good.

I don't know about the OP but when entering a cornerin high speed (>60 MPH) the the suspension on the outside of the corner feels like its bouncing a little and its not reassuring.

This thread is all over the place.

The OP has modified supspension and you're comparing his suspension to your OEM suspension setup?

The OP has R-comound tires and your telling him to get sticky tires?

The OP is talking about the track and your talking about the street?

19"s are "killing" him?

You know this is the road racing forum don't you?

It would be helpful if you clarified the specs and answered some of the questions asked, but also how is the car behaving. Are these broad sweepers, tight left or right hands, or in general.

Camber, FAT 17" R-comps,and a good alignment should greatly help your situation..

See my sig for my mods that work pretty darn well for HPDE. I do Roebling road pretty often , it has several long high speed corners (100 MPH) and I get thru those pretty well without much heartburn....

^ Agreed. (Tein makes how many different coilovers for the Z?)

I would also suggest reading some books by Fred Puhn and Carroll Smith (worth buying so you can have a better understanding, even if you don't read them cover to cover).

Also, if you don't own one, get a tire pyrometer (got mine on ebay used perfect condition).

These posts without any driving experience context are causing me heartburn

And can you clarify if you are indeed on tracks, or on the street? The wording indicates on track, but we should be sure.

OP,

you need to answer some of the questions asked by others before anyone can help you. I won't offer advise but it would be helpful if you could list:

-What sway bars(Hotchkis) and at what settings
-Settings on coilovers, comp/rebound if applicable
-Stock diff?
-What is the car doing at high speed? Can you describe what happens on these high speed corners? Is pushing wide, wobbling, oversteering...
