Default Exedy Clutch Contingency

So, Exedy has a contingency for NASA. Doesn't matter if you are HPDE, TT, or a racer. Sometime during the weekend, the NASA officials draw a cars number at random. They go to that car, and if it has the three supplied Exedy stickers on it, the cars driver wins a $75 cash card. Not bad. HPDE, TT, and racers all qualify.

Last NASA weekend (13-15 June) at Miller MotorSports Park in SLC, UT, I managed to win the drawing, and I had the stickers. Usually I scrape the stickers off at the end of the weekend, if I even put them on at all. but this time I had them on, and I won.

Now, I'm considering whether to keep them on or not. They actually look semi decent, with the deep blue lettering, contrasting with the black of my G35. they are on the two side rear windows, angled to match the slope of the window, and one is also on the rear hatch window. So, since they are on glass, they are easy to remove, but I kind of like how they look. Additionally, I can win again at the next NASA event, if I should get so lucky.

My concern is that they make my G look more like a racecar, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I just moved to Monterey, California, the state where almost every car modification is smog illegal, and they are cracking down on street racing hard. I do NOT street race, in fact, I get passed on the highway on a regular basis. I save my racing for the track. Nonetheless, racing stickers are asking for a cop to pull me over, even if they are legitimate stickers for a company whose products I use (Exedy Twin Carbon clutch) and have managed to win me money, as well. Also in the factor is that my G35 is CARB illegal, assuming it were registered in California. It's not, it is registered in Colorado, my state of legal residence, of where I am a homeowner, and because I am in the military, on active duty, am allowed to maintain my registration there.

So, after that long winded statement, considering that I actually like how the stickers look, and that they have won me money in the past, and may again in the future, but also considering the California police, should I keep the stickers on or not?

1. Buy some magnetic sheeting $9.99 for a 12x14 sheet

2. Stick sticker on magnetic sheet

3. Cut very carefully.

4. Repeat.

I'd say keep the stickers if it weren't for the CARB bs, but I like SlowJim's idea better. My ex-gf stickers up her Boxster using mag-sheets for things like ProSolo (kumho contingency).

pics of the g35?

I'm not really worried about eventualy winning against any ticket I get, as my car is completely legal by the standards of the state it is registered in, I'm just worried about the hassle of having to explain to CHP'ers why it is perfectly fine for my car to be registered in Colorado (my home state).

Don't really want to deal with the PITA. I'll probably scrap the stickers off this week and go the magnetic route, as was suggested.
