HOPEFULLY, we can make CMP.

Bill,
In truth you might have blown what you had in mind, but it almost always cheaper to buy already built vs building.

Are you even capable of driving over the speed limit? Cause I can recall falling asleep in the time it take you to drive to the grocery store.

this is very true. we looked at a few prepped cars but nothing like the one we bought. To me (this is just my opinion) I have always felt a purpose built car is far better then a street car converted. So I always had that in the back of my mind....yeah we blew the budget but we are ok with that. We got a lot of stuff for what we paid, enclosed trailer included.

We do have helment available, you will just need to let us know in advance so we can reserve it. Yes, you will have 6 sessions, plus parade laps and a wet skidpad to use. It's a lot of driving time.

You can find the rules plus some good tips at:
http://www.timetrials.net

Here are a few quick links to help out
An Overview
A FAQ
and finally, The tech Guide

We love to have total newbs at our events... make sure you get started out right

Here's what a typical newb schedule looks like for our events:

7:30 driver's meeting & safety briefing
8:55 Classroom session
10:10 1st track session
11:00 Lunch
12:00 classroom
1:30 2nd track session
2:30 classroom
4:00 3rd track session

In between those class and track sessions, and at the end of the day, the wet skid pad will be open to you. Sunday's schedule is basically the same.

Track sessions are 25 or 30 minutes, classroom sessions are 30-45 minutes.

We also try to throw in one 30-45 minute seminar on a topic related to track events (recently it's been insurance issues) hosted by a guest speaker of some sort.

So you'll have a full weekend. We schedule it so there's not a lot of down time.

Bump... still lots of room, but the event is filling up nicely!

I've also added an Asphalt Ventures lapping day and advanced drivers clinic on Friday, October 10th for you experienced guys...

Friday, October 10th (Asphalt Ventures):
  • $140 advanced, open lapping (@ 3 to 3-1/2 hrs of track time)
  • $190 rEvolution Performance Driver Enhancement clinic

Thats a fancy name for getting some intensive advanced driver training from Chuck Hawks... professional driving and executive coach. This clinic is for advanced level drivers and instructors who want some unique on-track, on-skid pad, and in-class development.

Details and registration links to either here: https://www.asphaltventures.com/RPDE...__Lapping.html or here: www.av.motorsportreg.com
