What is a good qualifying lap for you @ RA in the Z?

Laps times are posted now: looks like 1:42 is a good lap.

Mike,

You won the sprint race on Sat. correct? The wreck happened in Sun. race. You going to make The Rock?

Yep, won Saturday...got some points for Sunday the hard way . We will be passing on the Rock. This was decided months ago, since we have a nice lead in the sprint races for points there is no reason to run there.

Probably pick up a cmp test day once the car is back together.

I feel bad for him, as Karl (H1 Accord) may run there and Matt may loose his H1 championship. He left H1 to come run with us in PT class earlier this year since he was mostly running solo. And we were so close competition wise it makes for some exciting racing.

I fear though his car sustained a lot more damage than the Z due to its light weight.

Yeah, Reese was flying. That was one-time engine combo I believe. I think he's going back to his N/A engine the next time one.

I believe he ran a 1:36 in a bone stock C6 Z06 also.

I know that guy,,the car is two weeks old,,,and likely the 1st GT-R in competition in the USA....Overall FTD was about a 1:25 by Reese *** in a Corvette from another planet, the GT-R in completely stock form ran a 1:36!

Other times for comparison are:

A full race Porsche Cup car ran 1:28.99, a Porsche TT 1:32.89, a super-hot Vette @ 1:33.22, another hot Vette 1:36.017...Chris Rado had a 1:30.75 in the worlds fastest Scion....(blew up on Sat, caught on fire Sunday) All these cars are HIGHLY modified,,,,,,,TTU/TTR/TTS cars.

then a the completely stock GT-R (with street tires/brakes) ran a 1:36.........

I have fans now? LOL

Can't wait to get a set of real tires under the GT-R. Lose a little weight, little more oomph.. All in less than 4 weeks to get ready for Nationals. Don't know if I'm going to be running TTS or TTU yet. They haven't given a firm verdict on the car as of yet.

Saw the dust one the front straight and red flag when it went down, was standing on the inside of 12 watching. Was nerve racking to see you guys stacked up on the outside w/ cars passing as speed on the front straight. Glad no one came back across track.

It was fun watching you pilot the car around the track. Still can't get over how understated the exhaust sound is, it's like watching one of the diesel Audi's come by it's so quiet-but fast. You hear more wind than engine!

Looking forward to seeing what some race rubber under her heels will yeild.

Any video by chance?

Shoot, I ask about a frp v2 and about fell over out of the chair! Then stated should I even ask about the Grand Am approved stuff-he said no. I said ok

Talking to Shine Auto? About a frp v2 and c20 rear bumper. Might as well put on something that works.

This is from another thread over in the Nismo Z section. One of the sponsors here.

Rear:

I'm pretty sure www.mynismo.com used to have the spoiler listed on their site for something like $2500 dollars, but I can't find it now. I'm sure if you PM'd one of they guys that works there, they'd probably quote pretty close to that.
