Default need help for an older Z... a 240.. about LSD

I don't know where to ask, so maybe some of you knows it.
a friend of mine is building a 240z for some competition in italy, but he's unable to find an LSD (clutch or gear really doesn't matter).

suggestions?

The Ebay link WONT Work, you need a R200 LONG NOSE, the came in 280z-300zx (Z31) but LSD only in late 1987-1989, they are expensive because of their rarity... However you might be able to use the LSD carrier out of a short nose and throw it into a long nose diff...

FYI... your frined can call me or send an e-mail (go find betamotorsports on the web) and I can probably source either a CLSD, OBX, or Quaife for his R180. I just shipped a 4:62 CLSD R180 to a customer in Czech Republic.

I have this one (from an '89 anniversary) in my car - has served me well for nearly 10 years now

Quaife has a nice unit for the S30's

Cusco does one for the S130 that I've used before...also very nice

no sure if OS Giken does one...I know they have clutches, not sure on the diffs though

OS Giken supposedly make a CLSD for the R180. There's also the Subaru R180 out of the WRX STi that's available with a 3:54 CLSD or a 3:90 VLSD. Unfortunately the differential splines are different then the S30 side axle splines so you have to fabricate a CV shaft setup using Subaru and Datsun parts.
