My friends and I want to do a road course but will settle for Auto X. Are there any good tracks that wont require a special license and wont cost TONS of money???
OK, you have a bunch of them not too far from you:
Daytona International Speedway Daytona, FL
orlando motorsports park, Orlando, FL
Homestead Miami Speedway Homestead, FL
Jennings GP Jennings, FL
Moroso Motorsports Park Jupiter, FL
Sebring International Raceway Sebring, FL
St. Pete Grand Prix St Petersburg, FL
Most of them have local clubs and schools that you can sign up for to run there and you would get plenty of track time
Most of these schools are less that $300 bucks for an entire weekend, that's less than most people spend on a single rim.

You can trek over to Dothan, AL for some autocrosses with the Wiregrass region I know they have a few P-cola guys info at http://www.sccawiregrass.org/ you can also drive a little further and join the Dixie region for some autocrossing info at www.dixiescca.com
There's also some SCCA autocrossing over in Grand Bay, AL.
I believe this is their official forum: http://gulfcoastregion.proboards.com/index.cgi?
Track days are available here in LA at No Problem Raceway.

I've been to a couple of the cenla-scca events. There's also a decent track just outside of Baton Rouge, No Problem Raceway. I'm going back for an open track day on the 3rd of October. Hit me up if you're interested. We can caravan.
