Anyone using the BC ER's, I'm interested to know if they are as useful as they seem for track use? The independant compression and rebound dampening at a reasonable price got my attention. Also would like to know the advantages that a purpose built race system like Motons offer over a good coilover, e.g. Zeal Supers, HKS hipermax sports etc. I've never had a chance to ride in something with quality higher than the Hipermax's and would like to know if there is a legitimate advantage to a setup like the Motons.

copied from my sway and strut tower contribution:

Company: Cobb Tuning and Tokico

Description: 350Z adjustable sways and lowering springs, Tokico D-Specs

Make/model/year installed in: 2004 G35 Coupe, OEM Brembo 6MT

Specs (opt): OEM bushings and endlinks

Experience with:
I installed the sways first and with my intent of only aggressive street driving, I went ahead and positioned them on 2/3 rear and 2/4 front. Instantly noticed a huge improvement in side to side handling. With the 235/40 tires I had all around at the time, the handling was also very neutral front to back.

Skipping a few details later: after I installed the spring/strut kit and my larger wheel/tire combo things changed up a bit (255/35/19 and 295/30/19). The car of course still handles nice and flat, the ride improvement from the struts and springs was instantly noticed, much smoother and much more planted. The springs do provide a little bit of a rake, fore a more level lowering a spring mount mod would be required. I have seen this less pronounced on the Z though, remember this is on a G-coupe. With the tire change I have a little bit more rear push going on, but it does make it fun at times. Instead of dialing out rear bar I think I may try a little more front bar because I have more room in the adjustment range to help put some grip back into the front tires.

I have learned that I tend to prefer a neutral car, while a happy rear is fun, I do enjoy the lack of "moments" with a neutral car.
I'll update this after my first track experience. I want to say that for the street I drive with them at 3 turns from stiff.
