Default Forged Performance GT-R: NASA TTU At Road Atlanta 1:28

Latest quick video from last weekend's event at Road Atlanta. Brian Flanagan makes a special appearance at the end of the lap, at turn 11. I know you were trying to avoid me, but next time, just stay on line, and I will pass you cleanly on the inside. Managed a 1:28.7on that lap.

Well if you wouldn't startle me with all of your speediness....

Yeah, I was having some pretty severe brake vibration at that time and had been trying to get the hell out of everyone's way, hoping to cool them enough for a few more hot laps. Apologies if I was in your way, I'll stay on-line next time. Great video!

Nice! Man that car is a monster. Must be nice not to have any traffic, except for that pesky Z infront of you... I would be scared too if I saw you in my mirror!

You know you're going fast when the camera mount starts to flex because of the wind lol. In the rear view the camera starts to slowly tilt downward as your speed increased hah.

Just think how fast you would have been if it hadn't been for that jackass in the 350!

Yeah, that SOB cost me 7 tenths of a second. My Traqmate M had me 7 tenths faster coming out of T7.

Very cool. Is the wing speed-actuated or brake-actuated? Or is there a trained gerbil on the roof making it move?

very cool, I love the aero wing...you try securing a thin piece of foam over the camera's speaker. It should reduce the wind noise a bit.

I would think some kind of delay would be helpful in controlling the spoiler movement...looks that it moves based on acceleration and deceleration...however you need down force as you accelerate THROUGH a corner...I would think that this uncontrolled movement would really upset a 2 wheel drive on the hairy edge...

Maybe give a 2-4 second delay in going low-down force

It uses a speed sensor signal from the car, and it also has accelerometers that measure G loads. It's not just used in braking, rather the angle is optimized through the corners as well. Look closely and you will see three distinct angles: Braking/Cornering/Straights. The only time it lays flat is on straight sections of track, where there are no lateral g's.

Yes, it just has the potential to bump you up in class. My car is TTU which is basically one step below a full unlimited TTR class.

James, sorry I missed your previous question about the windows. Most racing organization mandate that windows remain down at all times. This facilitates emergency rescue should the need arise.
