Hey guys, just got back from my local racing supply store, and while I was there I also asked for recommendations on roll cage installers here in Perth (Australia)

A lot of names got rattled off, but then the guy had a brainwave, and remembered that OMP had just released an FIA approved roll cage for the 350Z.
I am still waiting on details, as their website didn't show pics or anything due to waiting on updates.

Now, I'm not sure on cage regulations in the states, I am sure that they are different to the Aus regs, but, from what I saw of OMP's other kits, the are shipped pre-bent, with all connectors/joiners ready to piece together and then weld in. (Apparently its a weld in only cage)

As I said, not sure on US regs, but it may be of interest to some.

 

wouldnt this basically be the same as a cusco or something comparable?, i know for d1 the regs are extremely strict and no bolt on will pass. welded in or not

 

SCCA/NASA generally recognize FIA certifications but roll cages are different. SCCA inspects the cage design AND the installation.
