Default Really lame question: covering seats for sweat

I'm doing another DE next month. It's TX, it's hot as hell, and I have cloth seats. So I don't mind sweating and getting the car a little dirty but I'd rather not have any long-term funk issues after this. Was thinking about putting towels in driver and passenger seats, but that could bunch up and negatively affect the driving position and cause more movement. Wondering if anyone had a more graceful solution, like I said, lame question, thanks!

You are over thinking this. Doubt if tech inspection will let you drive with towels in the car.

Scotchgard the seats and wipe it down after a race.

actually,
there is a seat cover you can use. It has good grip and absorbs moisture. Some of the leather seat guys have used them. I'll see if I can find it.

AZ is dry, especially Phoenix. Running in the high humidity environment like Sebring, CMP, or Barber you will sweat.

How about those grippy shelf-liner material. Besides being a barrier between you and the cloth, they could keep you from sliding around in the seat (at least it works on leather).

Thank you everyone who offered serious suggestions! Yes, some sort of seat cover is what I'm looking for. Sweat isn't an issue while driving on track, but when your parked in staging and waiting around out of the car you just get... damp. It's not even beading sweat, it's just a dampness on your clothes. Worried it soaks into the cloth seats and the smell will linger if I do this repeatedly!

I like the Old Spice reply too. . Will check out the Z Store after I get off work.
